Ria Formosa – a gem on the Algarve coast
Beyond the old walls of Faro the Ria Formosa lagoon stretched away into the distance, a labyrinth of channels and islands protected from the sea by a line of sandy islets. Fishy Portraits in Faro
Food markets are a great window on local tastes and rich source of subjects for a photographer. I particularly like fish stalls with their shimmering wares in other worldly shapes and colours. Stall holder are usually very proud of their produce and I find that if you show a genuine interest they are often very happy to explain and display the fish for you to photograph.
