On discovering that this week’s theme for #FriFotos on Twitter was “luxury” the first thoughts that came to my mind were all to do with comfort – impossibly plump pillows, soft deep piled enveloping towels, the cool feel of fine cotton sheets. As for luxury travel, well for me, it is epitomised by the grand cruise liners and great train journeys; journeys undertaken in style, where service and elegant surroundings are the accompaniment to stunning locations and changing scenery.
