Mount Teide is a volcano on Tenerife in the Canary Islands

Comercio Square also known as Terreiro do Paço or “the palace’s square,” is the impressive  waterfront centre piece

of Portugal’s capital Lisbon  where for over two centuries the royal palace stood until it destruction in 1755 in  the

Great Earthquake. This impressive structure really lends itself to a panorama.

Cloud shrouded rain forest on La Gomera in the Canary Islands. The subtle but rich colour of lichen and bracken

photograph well in the soft ethereal light created by the mist.
